As truck driver is in ASCO section 7 it is not an aoocupation that is eligible for migration purposes. Your only hope would be to get a company willing to sponsor you on a 457 tempoaray visa but it MUST be in a REGIONAL area as gazetted by DIMIA. The application must also have the approval of the relevant Regional Certifying Board as without this you cannot apply for the tempoaray visa. After 2 years with your employer on a 457, if they are willing to sponsor you again then you can apply for PR via RSMS but again you must get approval from the RCB that covers that area. Being in the job for 2 years is not a guarantee to be eligible for PR as your employer would have to demonstrate "exceptional" reasons.
Sponsorship is not easy particularly when you are outside ASCO 1-4 and it is also difficult to find sponsors in regional areas, and are you prepared to live outside the metro area of the major cities. I believe the whole of SA and NT are considered regional so you may have more luck in these areas.
