We had a weeks holiday around May and, as you say, it was so nice to get away from it all. I could actually relax and enjoy my kids without waking up each day and checking my phone for SMS alerts, and then logging on to the email etc. Pointless telling you really. I'm sure we all have pretty much the same routine ;)
I went to EuroDisney about 1 year after it opened and it was ok, but went to Orlando 2 years ago, so I don't think EuroDisney will seem quite the same this time. I don't think even Disney could work its magic with the people working there, none of who looked particularly happy to be there when we went.
It's a little like skiing. France was great until I went to the states. Everyone just seemed so miserable the next time I went to France skiing. The Americans just manage to pull off a real feeling of enjoying it all that the rest of us Europeans don't seem to manage (or can't be ar*ed to!).
Anyway, I'm rambling and probably unintentionally upsetting a whole bunch of people so I'll shut up on that subject.
When are you off to France? We're off in just under 2 weeks. I am really hoping to hear something before then, but hey, I've been hoping like that for months now.
Which part of Oz has your sister moved to? Is that where you want to end up?
