Dear Mr. Lombard,
Thank you for the quick and succinct reply.
I wanted to add more information with regards to my case, i.e i have been working since 1993 - However untill 1999, my job profile involved 70% Telecom related job and 30% Computing content. Since Feb of 2000, my job profile changed the other way round. However my problem is that the company i worked from Feb 2000 until May 2001 has been taken over by a Multi-National and the name and entire management has changed, hence getting an reference from them is an issue and moreover i am no longer in that country.
I have been working in the present country-company since June 2001 and hence any paperwork-references here is not an issue.
With regards to MODL - CISSP, i got certified at CISSP in June this year and the requirement to be a CISSP includes a minimum of 4 years direct experience in security. (https:--www.isc2.org-cgi- bin-content.cgi?category=1187), however i am not sure how ACS does its buttessment with regards to CISSP, do i need to apply 1 year after the CISSP or do they consider the experience due to which the CISSP cert was granted?
I suppose MODL points are crucial for me to qualify in the point tests. without which i may perhaps end up with 115 points.
Thanks again and look forward to more inputs.
Regards
Stacnet
