AOS Bond Request Sender: nitu23

Hi Leo,

Usually Centrelink give u letter straightaway after interview to deposit bond in 14 days. I've seen three buttuerers went for interview and got letter straightaway.

I been to butturance of support interview. They usually take 20 minutes, although 30 minutes booked for interview. Centrelink officer normally finish in 20 minutes. If butturer's required documents are in order may be 15 minutes (happened to me). They ask for these documents:

First of all AoS request letter from DIMIA and then butturer has to provide the folowing documents:

Canada set to increase immigration levels more compebreastion for Australia Sender: tableland
I have written a lot about this on the Canadian Immigration forum. Canada was my preference because of its proximity to Europe and the US, and I like North American culture. BUT I am...

1. Last 2 years Tax buttessment notice from ATO (not from tax agent, a person sitting next to me brought from tax agent, they advised him to submit Tax Tax buttessment notice from ATO and then they will issue letter to pay bond).

2. Pbuttport (Australian or Overseas with proper visa) Australian Citizenship Certificate (if you have)

3. Photo ID (driving licence) and Medicare card-bank card

4. last two pay slips or employer letter. They accepted Employer letter in my case and returned pay slips.

5. No bank balance asked.

offficer entered documents' details into computer and computer straighaway gave decision requirements met (or not). Then officer went to photocopy all the documents to keep in a file (He asked me to fill all my address details on the file cover). He entered details of applicants from the DIMIA letter into computer and letter to submit bond was printed.

I booked appointed with bank in the same suburb (counting 30 minutes interview time and 10 minutes to go) to lodge bond. I made aware bank that I may have to cancel appointment if there is some thing wrong with Centrelink. They took 30 minutes to fill paper work ($3500 for first adult and $1500 for each subsequent adult plus $150 admin fees). I went back to centrelink (same place) and at the counter asked to submit-show bond papers. receptionist ask me to wait for sec. A lady came out and took centrelink letter to lodge bond, bond paper and Bank butturance letter (if butturer will not repay to centrelink any money owed by migrants then bank will release bond money to centrelink). She took copy of those papers and returned originals to me and said in 4 working days I will recieve letter of approval. She said as I handed in the branch that looks after AoS, it will be quicker by a day. I received letter in 48 hours. I know lot of people want to know about this process that's why I wrote my experience. I also watched what is happening to other butturers attending interview same time as I did. All finished in 2 hours in Melbourne-Prahran office.

Goodluck to all of you.
