Hi there,
We're sending in our application on the basis of my husband's skills and could use some advice on how to sufficiently prove experience, hours of work, etc
He's a freelance journalist and has worked for one client for the last three years on virtually a full-time basis. We've already gone through Vetbuttess. What we're unsure about is how to actually prove that he's worked more than 20 hours per week - given that his earnings are comparable to a full-time job would we even need to prove hours worked?
Any April 06 Visa applicants Sender: john_wJust thought I'd post Febs application updates for all to compare when CO's have been buttigned and visas granted.. Re: New Feb 06 Visa Applications ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------- 1 janniDK, 137...
We're looking at submitting the following:
1 - a work reference from the client (the standard one with five main duties, etc) 2 - a second letter of reference from the client detailing the amount invoiced for each month (this, I hope, could be provided in lieu of an official receipt and could also potentially state that work on the publication involves more than 20 hours per week) 3 - copies of tax returns and-or copies of statements of account from the inland revenue 4 - possibly a statutory declaration confirming that my husband works more than 20 hours a week, and the date he commenced working for the client
I guess my question is do we need all of the above - or, in fact, do we need anything else in addition to the above? Is there anything we might have missed?
Thanks in advance for any help and advice. Rach
