OK. I'm currently in the same situation.

I am sure they will understand that you want to make future plans beyond 2 years. Thus getting the letter will be easy. If the employer s nice and good and you like the job then stay for a while as you committed and in fairness to the employer but If you dont like the job or the employer then you should move on anyway.

Everyone does future planning (including your employer) and there is nothing wrong in it.

Sorry, if it sounds a bit abrupt, I want to go to the point and let you understand my problem.

Can't you lie that easily ? I've some difficulties at it. Moreover, the guy has been managing is own company for 10 years already, don't you know he has got some human knowledge and he won't detect my goals ? I think there is not just a chance he finds out what is going on. It's just a BIG risk!
