Hi A Mate

Bayside schools 1346
Hi tking Thank you so much for your information. The education side of things is causing...

I totally agree with you regarding your points. Our children attend a national school here in Ireland and could not fault the school in any way. The school turns out rounded children with great self confidence and ready for secondary school education. I am not a believer that by paying out thousands of dollars that a good end result can be achieved. My concern is that having read other threads that there can be a problem with the secondary level education. My ideal situation would to put the kids in state primary up to say year 5 and then onwards to private as I think this may give them the best of both worlds. May not be feasible as I sure places are difficult to get. We would like to settle in or around the Wellington Point-Ormiston area and would be looking at schools in this area. I would love my children to attend a school in close proximity to where they live as I believe from my experience it helps them with friendships as a lot of children would live close to the school.

My oldest son currently 9 years would be going into year 5 when we arrive. So I need to get the skates on and look at registering him at some schools.

Thanks for your information

Now I know this has probably been asked a thousand times so I am sorry if its already been answered. I searched and trawled through a lot of helpful stuff, but nothing quite answered...
