Hi tking
Thank you so much for your information. The education side of things is causing me a major headache. We would be quite happy to put the boys in a good state primary school. Do not know which of them are good. Could you advise. Are the state primary schools linked to a catchment area. Have heard that Wellington state primary school is good. In your opinion would you agree or know of any better schools. We will be choosing (hopefully) the best schools first and then purchasing a house in the catchment area. We deem a good school to be one not only that achieves good academic results but also turns out well rounded children. Also sporting facilities are a must as my boys are very sporty kids.
I hear that to get into a lot of private schools that it would depend on the religion you are. Is this true and if so would that mean say Iona which I believe is Catholic school that the children would have to be in a Catholic school prior to Year 5, which would not be the case if they go to a state school. What would the general feeling me about co-ed v's boys only-girls only. Also are Redlands-Ormiston rated as good colleges
I am just a bit confused about the predicament at the moment. We hope all going well to be emigrating July 2006. We want to get their names down on some of the suitable schools, because I am sure like UK and Ireland that it is very difficult to get places.
Sorry about all the questions.
Many, many thanks for your information
Regards
