Wmoore et all,
I know this is the Aus & NZ forum.
The AHC I mentioned is the Australian High Commision in Ottawa Canada. I lodged my application for a Spousal migration with them about 9 months ago so my Wife, Son and I could move to Australia.
The AHC had told me to submit my pbuttport so they could stamp-sticker staple or whatever and return my pbuttport with the visa in it. Definitely a good thing.
Now I am stuck not being able to take a business trip to the UK and-or South America because I do not have my physical pbuttport with me as the AHC has it right now. Not a good thing as far as my boss is concernd.
I was hoping any Yanks, Canucks or otherwise out there who have had their application processed with the AHC in Ottawa could tell me if they know how long they tend to hold on to the pbuttport for this stage.
If not any response times from there, I'd be interested from other lodging locations.
Then I would have an idea of roughly how long I will be pbuttport-less and can manage the demands for other international travel.
thanks for your time.
Ray
