Who can countersign my application? After you have completed the form in full, including section 9, section 10 should be completed and signed...

I think you are right, if he made the application, then it is a sure thing, though on paper it doesn't appear to be a problem after all he can apply in his own right when he is 18. Mum is concerned that he might try for custody, if asked though. I don't see this as being likely' From what little I know, he is more concerned that it would become public knowledge at home and in his work place that he has an illegitamate son with autism. I could be doing Dad an injustice though. He is a barrister in Aus. I've only met him the once when he last visited 3 yrs ago, he seemed pleasant enough then. Even if we couldn't get in, it would be nice for the lad as he has little enough from the man that brought him into the world. The lad still rgards him as his Dad and gets excited whenever he hears from him. Not sure whether to write to Dad or not, don't want to make matters worse. Do you think the application might be refused if Mum applies. We have the form and birth certificates all ready to post out. Thanks for you time and input Westly Chris
