hi Catherine, sorry I can't give any advice about your mum and the visa situation, but i am sure someone else on the site might be able to give you further info, if not, why not ask an agent the cost involved to find out the situation - ie. if it would be feasible to bring her with you? , Once you know the outcome of this you will be able to plan your life better.
It sounds to me that if you are having a bad time at work, try to rectify this next, maybe deal with all the bits in sections, as in if your mum can go with you then full steam ahead,

if not then look into getting a different job, sort out different accomodation for your mum along with your brother and sister and your mum too, then once your mind is clearer with everything else you can start the application process, because this is stressful alone without all these other things happening, regarding your mum,remember you have your own life to live and you maybe shouldn't let your mum being a bit vulnerable just now stop you from doing what you as a family want to do,so, 1 find out exactly if your mum can go with you 2 if she can then great apply 3 if she can't then look for new job 4 rearrange somehow your mum's accomodation to free up your cash 5 then apply (i only know about the visa we have applied for but once it is validated we have up to 5 years before we need to move permanently )
