Hi all. I would like to immigrate to OZ and have done loads of points test and they all come up as successful. However when I start reading the details on the DIMA site and the relevant buttessment bodies I get confused as in reality it seems my points might not be valid. Here's my situation -
I've been in IT for 5 years. I have a business management diploma and some MCP certificates. According to the ACS site it doesn't seem I fit the criteria.
My wife has a 3 year diploma as a Beauty Therapist (a degree was not available for this profession). It's more like a trade. She is now a medical rep which is on the SOL and she as a highly regraded British certification for this. According the the VEbuttES site she also might not meet all the criteria as for her SOL they say equivalent of a Degree.
We are both young, prepared to invest the 100K have the skills but seems like our qualifications will lety us down.
Has anyone else had a similar situation? Would we still have a chance?
