Im new to this so excuse me if these questions have beenanswered - I had a quick peek through and couldn't find an answerexactly..so here goes. - I am an Aussie, husband is Canadian - Canada Immigration is a nightmare (waiting times sooo long) so we arewondering about costs-wait times in Australia before I send in myapplication there. - I have looked through Dima website and also phoned some not sohelpful guy in Ottawa at the Aust Consulate. Anyway, I know thatmedicals in Aust are approx $300, police checks $36 but I am not sureof the following
1. How much does it cost for Spouse Visa for Australia TOTAL if weapply from Canada?
2. How much will it cost if we apply IN Australia?
3. If we were to apply in Australia, my husband would need a Visafirst. What type of Visa would this be? How much would this visa cost?
4. My husband was in Australia alot over the last 5 years, he neveroverstayed his visitor visa, but had to jump thru alot of hurdles toget his final three months granted. Will this affect him getting avisitor visa now? (Last In Australia April 2005)
5. What are the processing times for the Spouse Visa? Any differencebetween In Australia-Outside Australia applications?
