Could not believe it but yesterday, my boss got a call from DIMIA asking loads of questions about me and the work I do (Hairdresser) at his place. He said they grilled him for a while and then asked why would someone want to employ me etc etc. He answered everything they asked and had a good chat with them about Oz too.........as he is a bit of a talker! But he said it all seemed to go OK.
We are about to have our Meds (requested) done in a couple of weeks and thought why dont they do this before they request them. That way if they think there is something wrong with my work etc then it would save us the expense of the Meds if we did not satisfy their requirements etc.
My three brothers all live in Oz now and their boss's were never called and neither was my brother-in-law's (who goes for good in less than three weeks) and it was a bit of a shock hearing they had called. We know they do it randomly etc but never thought it would be us!
