I to am about to start the process for our family. My husband is in British Army which does not qualify him for any points and therefore have to go under my skill as Chartered Surveyor ( 50 points I think). We are both 38 and also cannot meet the points under 138. My Aunt lives in Melbourne VIC and we all went to visit last Easter. My two children are 10 and 7 and have never lived in UK,mainly in Germany and Cyprus over the past 10 years. We also have a house in Cornwall ( Carbis Bay ) and both my husband and myself are from there but could not afford to live there on him leaving the Army in two years time. We are going to start the process so that if possible we can obtain PR before designated Area becomes a temp option. Will have to kick off my Skill butt as soon as poss. Hope to go through the process myself although cannot sleep at the moment with the size of the task ahead.
