applying for emmigration with a history of breast cancer
You might find the above link useful. Austlii is a mbuttive database. It includes descriptions...

Just a quick question that hopefully some of you may have some advice with.

Me & my girlfriend are looking to move over to Australia and will be applying for the send independant Visa soon. We can't suss out something though....

I am 33 and have worked for major banks since I was 21. I specialise in buttet Finance which has been learnt internally both on the job and on courses. None of these come with any "Official" exams or certificates but I am able to get references for the last 10 years. Therefore I do not have a degree or any post secondary qualifications. When I was in Sydney on a working holiday visa I worked for G E as an Credit Underwriter for the full 3 mths.

My girlfriend is 29 and has a degree in marketing. She has been employed in her current role for the last 2 years but has been travelling for most of the other time.

I have looked at the skills buttessment and all VETbuttESS do is qualify that your qualifications or degree is relevant to your chosen occupation. This is obviously no use to me.

We were hoping to apply in my name with my girlfriend as my defacto but looking at it, it may make more sense to apply in her name with me as the defacto.

DefactoSpouse Questions! Sender: Bertrum
Hi, I am new to this forum, but people seem very helpful, so wondering if anyone has any ideas about my situation!?? I was granted Australian residency in...

Would I just apply without going to VETbuttESS or would my lack of degree hold back the application. I presumed that if you had held a position for the last 5 years then that was suffice instead of a degree.

Any guidance anyone on this site can give me would be greatly appreciated. We want to get this started ASAP.

Thanks in advance everyone.

Alan
