Thanks to both of you for your replies. I am in I guess a bit of a complicated situation. I dont have any post secondry qualifications but I have been approached by an Australian company (I'm a commodities trader) to work for them based in Melbourne, now I was recomended to them via a headhunting agency and they want to employ me but wont sponsor me becuase of all the arse ache their end. I am very interested to go and work there and it is a very exciting opportunity for me but I fear I wont be able to get through the skills buttessment if they buttess me on qualifications and not my proffesion. I am 27, nearly 28 and been a trader since I was 20. I hope I will be judged on my 'skills' and references and not my qualifications or lack of. I have good school grades but went to train as a policemen so hence i didnt get a degree.
I have looked at the skills buttessment forms on line (vetbuttess) and they all seem to be about qualifications post secondry. I think i will have to approach a migration agent about this and see what they say.....
Can i be buttessed on skill? or do I need 'qualifications'?
