Throughout the past six years in the electronic design industry, I have been analysing and designing and simulating electronic circuits mainly on IC.
IN my 2 years out of 6 years experience, I was employed at Power supply company whose business is to provide electronic switching power supply products for IT equipments. My position held in this company is ELECTRICAL ENGINEER in the sense that we are designing electrical products with a power density of 25W-in. cube. The implementation of this power supply switching products could only be acomplish by ELECTRONIC design means. I'm using this episode as my recent work experience for my 139 visa
Given that I was buttessed by IEAust as an ELECTRONICS ENGINEER. Would DIMIA still ask me to provide skill buttessment in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING? My job description all throughout is Electronics in nature and most of the time my profession can be qualified as or alternately qualify as ELECTRICAL-ELECTRONICS engineer since all engagement was electrical in nature..
OR maybe, can I devise a stat declaration renaming that my position held stated on my employment certificate in this particular company should be Elctronics design Engineer?....
Those guys that has same case are most welcome to comment.. thnx...
