Hi all!
I've been a pbuttive reader of this board for a few weeks gathering information but I have some questions of my own now... From what I have read, it is possible to migrate to Australia taking the following (optional). What I am curious about is whether one needs a job in a very important field such as nursing or business ownership in order to obtain a work visa and begin the afforementioned steps towards Australian residency, or if one can obtain a job at a normal place of business (like a market in Victoria, or a downtown shop in a CBD)?
I would like to move to OZ within 5 years and my reasoning is that while visiting OZ each time I have achieved the highest level of happiness and personal satisfaction with life that I have ever experienced and for various reasons... I'm currently living in the US (which is a hint as to why the OZ experience has been so great :). I say 5 years because once I have learned enough information about PR requirements, I can make the most important decision: deciding whether to go to school for a long time in order to be qualified for a nursing position or another high-demand job or whether I can work at my current job and just relentlessly plug money into my savings account for 5 years.
Cheers, and thanks for any information!
