Advice On Whether Or Not To Contact Your Case Officer..... Sender: Baz
Hi There, We have a bit of a prediciment. We had our independant send migration visa acknowledged on the 20th September 2005. We had our meds requested in the beggining of January...

I'm a bit confused about CO - when do they get buttigned and how do you know about it. We are using an agent, does that mean that they will get news of the CO? And how do you know what region you are (and what difference does that make)? Oh so many questions......-QUOTE

case officers get buttigned when they request the pccs-meds-aos, or thats when you find out their name anyway. the agent will advise you that they have heard from the co (or this is what i think, as we are not up to that stage yet, as you well know suzi!!). the region? according to my agent, he doesnt know what region we are in yet. i dont know when you find that info out, i presume the same time as the co gets buttigned, but i have read that it can be before that time. i dont know whether our agent would tell us the name of our co? i think they would think, 'this info is no use to them, so why do they need to know' type of thing. i am going to ask for a copy of the letter, when it comes, just for prosperity, so i will see it then.

however, all this info may be wrong, as we are not yet at this stage :( xx

Parent Visas, help needed
privateso privateso The Balance of Family test has dogged my own family for several years now, so I have every sympathy with your friend. The problem is that H&W are treated as one, therefore...
