I think you may be confusing TRA and DIMIA as having something to do with each other, they are separate problems. TRA want to see you are qualified with enough experience to ensure you are competent. When my own TRA was done last year people were given deeming dates, this basically mean't that they considered you qualified from a certain date, 6 years from starting training. This has now stopped , but TRA still expect to see some experience. Hopefully you have enough info, detailed refs, plus recent experience to pbutt. Once you have TRA certificate in hand you can start looking at how you score for your visa application. If you have been working for 2 years then surley you will meet the 12 out of 18 months criteria.
I wish you luck ann Just had a look on points test to refresh my memory. It's specific work points you miss out on, having a guess on your age I had you scoring either 115 or 110. However depending on where you want to live you could still apply for SIR or STNI. You didn't say when in 2003 you went back to work, but if it was early on, then before you know it you'll have the 3 years anyway.
