Mainly down to pre-July syndrome I think, but here goes a rough summary.
My first CO asked for some more info on a previous employment which I returned within a few days (She had it within a week) but she just sat on it for over 8 weeks. I think it was just luck that I emailed her on the day she left, so managed to email the region manager the next day and found out who my new CO was, that the documents I sent were actually ok, and that the bond request would be coming the next week. At the end of the next week I emailed my new CO to chase the bond request which came a week or so later. I paid that on 1st July and have been waiting since then. Emailed CO and manager last week again but no replies, so emailed again yesterday and told that CO had been out of the office for a few weeks and she will be discussing the case with her manager tomorrow morning. Guess it shows that other COs don't handle the cases when another is out of the office.
Didn't I read that you have got your visa?
