Hey all... its been a long time and this forum has been always great...got a lot of help from all the experts and really appreciated it.. I have serched a bit on pregnancy and found good info but wanted to ask everyones openion on a few questions.
Myself and misses got the 136 visa last Aug 05 and made the validation trip in Nov. Stayed in oz for 3 weeks. Now we are back in the U.S. and she is pregenant. So we are trying to decide where to have the baby. So here is my understanding from the research on this forum and please correct me if i am wrong.
1. If i have the baby outside of OZ then i will have to launch a new app for the baby and get full medicals done and also pay about AU$1500 Appliction fee?? Is this correct ?
2. In the above senario can will the baby also get a 5yr multiple visa to return with us anytime we decide or will he get a short 6month visa??? Will he need to validate the visa withing 1year ???
3. Lets say i decide to move to oz in misses 8th month and then have the baby in oz and come back after 3months ? will the baby get both OZ and U.S Citizenship?? Oz citizenship because he is born in OZ to PR parents and U.S. becasue the parents have U.S. citizenship...
4. Now if i go to OZ for 3 months to have a baby what type of medical expenses am i looking at for having the baby their ??? And will the baby have health benefits afterwards...
Last Remaining Relative Visa Got ItHi there - I really don't know quite what to do with the girls as,although they are both working full time, neither one of them couldcope...
