I am applying for an independent send Oz visa. I did my skills buttessment way back in Nov 2003 and had my medicals in Feb 2005. I received a letter from immigration in late March started I had 110 points (5 short of the pbutt mark of 115 due to only having 2years and 345 days out of 3 years work experience!). If I had just made that 3 years I would have pbutted then. However, was not to be. I have now been placed in a pool and my case officer has informed me that when the pbutt mark points 'drop' I will be granted. The pool mark pbutt mark is 70. As I am at the top of this pool I feel I should probably be one of the first in. But does it work like that? I can remain in this pool for up to 2 years. Please, please if anyone is in, has been, or knows someone who has been in this pool could you please shed some light on this situation. I am reluctant to email my case officer as previously he has sent a rather snubbing mail back when i needed information before and I have only emailed him twice in 6 months!
Would be extremely grateful for any info however minor.
