I hope things work out for you but as a general point can I please point out some things that are obviously misunderstood that commonly crop up on this forum.
1. "Doc in Scotland had already pbutted us".
Help me please somebodyDear Forts I think this reply from you is aimed at me, to judge by the dates and times on each of your & my posts. It seems that I...
It is not in any way up to the panel doctor in the UK as to whether or not you "pbutt" or "fail". The panel doctor NEVER makes this decision. The decision falls to DIMA. The panel doctor purely collects the information required and pbuttes it onto DIMA for them to decide whether or not you meet the medical criteria.
The panel doctor is asked to mark applicants as category A or B. Category A simply means the panel doctor has not detected any significant findings in history or examination. Category B means they have detected significant findings. People who have been marked as category A can still "fail" the medical (for example, where the panel doctor doesn't deem something to be significant but DIMA does) just as those who have been marked as category B will frequently "pbutt".
2. Later on you suggest that the doctor's secretary says you'll be ok. With all due respect I don't really believe the doctor's secretary would have any way of knowing this or of accurately predicting this. You may well be ok but I personally believe the secretary's comments are basically irrelevent and of little value in this discussion!
As I said, I do wish you the best of luck.

Madhu (Never a panel doctor but a GP with a reasonable understanding of how these things work. This is of course in no way a professional opinion but my personal observations)
