ack Jadran...... sta se desilo???
I'm from Serbian origin... and married over in Serbia after finding my true love back in 2002... only we didn't have the complications you seem to be having.....
If your baby is born in another country, I presume thats where it becomes a citizen of......... you'll need to apply, as far as I am aware, for your child to become an Aussie citizen.
We just had our first child and if I wanted to make him a Serbian citizen (which I don't), I'd need to apply over there. I presume so anyhow. I know I wanted to apply to become a dual citizen and they like to complicate things (over there anyhow).
You know... there is nothing stopping you ringing DIMIA and asking anonymously your same query and their advice... I did the same thing when applying for my spouse to come to Australia.
It doesnt matter that she is unsend or unemployed, if you applied for a spousal visa, the fact that you two are married will count. Are you employed and able to support her is she came over? Looks like you have gotten yourself into a bit of a quandrary!!! Where in Australia are you from??
oh.... and while I am harrbutting you with questions.... why do you think the families will be against your union? maybe they will change their mind once they know your intention of staying together given she is pregnant?
