Hi and welcome. Some of these questions are perhaps better asked on the lifestyle forum (like the one about your dogs) but I'm sure there are plenty of people here who will help. I'll try:
We are taking our two dogs and I know there are loads of people who do. It is a worry but they seem to go along ok.
We used an agent, and I think that most people would agree that the TRA is the hardest bit. You have to show swo much evidence it is untrue. Entire occupation history, qualifications, apprenticeships (don't know what trade your hubby is in), references, you name it they want it.
As far as you not being married, there are plenty of people who live together who make the move. Is your husband's name on your son's birth certificate? That would be a good start. It is a case of proving a long term relationship, so I think holiday photos over the years that show you together, letters from people who have known you in your relationship for a long time, that kind of thing. Someone else who is in a better position will probably come on here an advice you.
Best of luck.
Anne :)
