Hello to all in the group we have just joined and spent ages reading all your posts this is a great site you all seem really helpful and friendly glad to be a part of your group. A bit about us my name is Nichola 27, partner Steven 30, son Kieran 11 we are from bonnie Scotland and we have all decided to make the huge move abroad for loads of reasons! After months of talking about it and many hours researching we have now narrowed it down to firstly try Australia and if that doesnt work plan B is Spain not much difference! We have bought loads of books on moving and now feel we know enough to begin the process of this scary but very exciting move. We have joined your group in the hope we can get some help from you and then in return we can also help others, it would be great to make a few friends along the way. Ok we have loads of questions! I have tried to find the answers on the forum first before asking all the same questions again havent managed to find the answers to questions below. (if ive missed them please redirect me)

Have any of you moved and taken your pets with you? We have two beautiful dogs that I dont want to leave but I am wondering if I am being selfish and if the move would be to stressful for them. I know we have to get them their pbuttports which is no problem but I am worried about the flight and also how they will cope with the quarantine for 30 days. I would really appreciate advice from anyone who has moved dogs over.
We have begun our migration process starting with TRA hopefully this will all go well then the visa stage (which i am dreading!) we are doing this ourselves rather than have an agent has anyone else made the move without hiring a company to help?
Last one! Our other question is on the visa app we are not married so would apply as living together what is the evidence you have to submit to prove this? We do not have joint bank accounts etc so not sure what we would do if anyone can tell us what they used to support their application this would be a great help and we can get organised while we wait.
