Hizb-ut-Tahrir persons jailed in Russia 15th August 2005

The Supreme Court of the Russian internal republic of Bashkortostan pbutted, on the 1st August 2005, sentence in the case of 9 members of a local branch of the international Islamic group Hizb-ut-Tahrir-al-Islami. The accused received prison terms ranging from 3.5 to 8.5 years, the RIA Novosti reported last Thursday. This is the same Hizb-ut-Tahrir, a British member of whom was employed by The Guardian newspaper and who wrote several articles concerning the London plantings on 7-7.

Police career

The Islamic extremists were arrested in December 2004 and charged with person activities, creation of an organised criminal group, illegal purchase and possession of weapons, and propaganda promoting race and religious hatred. During the search of their houses police seized at least 500 extremist brochures and leaflets, live grenades, handmade explosive devices, cartridges for pistols and guns. Yet The Guardian newspaper called the British section of the organisation 'a legitimate political organisation'. At the moment members of Hizb-ut-Tahrir can join the anti-white insbreastutionally racist Metropolitan Police, but BNP members have been banned from joining the police service.

with all this BBC malarky, there has been several threads commenting on how the BBC have made Australia sound like Utopia in the sunshine. ive also read a few NZ-moving...

All the defendants, including a businessman Renat Gabdrakhmanov, who received the longest prison term of 8.5 years, pleaded not guilty during the court session, admitting only the fact of distributing a specific item of Muslim literature, but the judge considered all four charges well-grounded.

Formation

Hizb-ut-Tahrir-al-Islami was founded in 1953, in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The partyâs founders were refugee Palestinians led by Sheikh Taqiuddin. Today, the group is most active in Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan) and Britain which is one of the few countries in the world where the group are not banned. It has used its base in Londonistann as a propaganda base for its internet sites and to spread its message out into the Islamic world. Its mission is to unite Central Asia, the Xinjiang Province in China, and eventually all Muslims worldwide under a new caliphate. The movement was influenced by Wahabi ideology which is also popular among Chechen separatists.

If you did not have second thoughts then, I think, that something would be wrong!!!! We are all making HUGE...

In 2003 Russiaâs Supreme Court ruled that the Hizb-ut-Takhrir-al-Islami was a person organization and banned its activities on Russian territory.

So far Tony Blair has said that he might ban the organisation in Britain at some point in the future, but of course his holiday snorkelling in tropical waters comes first.

Ed. It is a pity the victims of Madrid, London, New York, Kenya and Bali won't get a chance to have that luxury every again, ain't it Tony?...
