Hi Charlie,

I am glad for you, that you already got your CO for fast for a 136 non MODL. My application was received on 15 March and acked on 5 April and I still don't have a CO. Mind you according to DIMA they are only processing application received before 5 March as of this week. So this is again one of those mysterious things where it seems DIMA is favouring some people above others. I know I am considered "high" risk since I am from South Africa, which technically will make my application a lower priority than other countries, but there are many UK (low risk) people on this forum who are 136 MODL and non MODL who did not receive their COs and they applied in Feb-March. So for me it is over 6 months waiting for a CO to be buttigned.

Did you do anything special on with you application? Or are you an onshore applicant?

DIMA, if you read this, please explain to us, how your fuzzy logic work. I can understand if this was for SIR or a 457 visa, but it seems that some people almost skip the entire waiting and jumps straight into processing it. Charlie, you are not the only one. On Austimeline there is one guy who got his 136 non MODL visa in 3 months, and he was living in the UK, but seemed to have an Indian name. Now how do we explain this? I know it is not done by ASCO code, because ASCO 2231 processing times for 136 non MODL is all over the place with people getting COs from 1-8 months, but in general COs are only buttigned between 5-7 months.
