Already tried that. Still waiting for the "internal checks" to be completed whatever they may be. I wrote to the region 3 manager back in June asking who my new CO was (my previous CO went off on indefinite leave) and when I would be getting the bond request and was told it would be sent out the following week. Almost 3 weeks later I got the request and sent it all off the same day. Now CO is saying that I asked for it to be sent early hence the internal checks are still being processed. All I did I simply asked back in June was when I would be getting the bond request. Oh well.
We complete on the house tomorrow and so me, wife and 3 kids will be homeless. boohoo. Sharing our time among relatives, friends and hotels. No pressure eh? The CO has the cheek to say that all applicants are told not to sell houses or quit jobs until they receive a decision from DIMIA. I've been waiting for a decision for over 16 months now! I believe the "DO NOT" list is written on the same sheet of paper that states decision should be made around 50 weeks after the application is received. I think we are over week 70 now. Crazy eh?
