Thanks George.

I called the IEAUST this morning but the buttessing officer that dealt with my case was not at his desk and I had to leave for work. I explained the situation to a colleague of his and they said they would pbutt the message on and ask my buttessing officer to e-mail me.

If I don't hear anything I will call them again tonight.

On looking back at our points, we may be OK anyway by just getting 5 points for work experience. On reading booklet 6 it seems that for 60 point occupations you can have 5 points for having 3 out of the last 4 years work experience in any occupation on the SOL. So, as long as I at least get 5 points for work experience we should be OK.

60 - occupation 30 - age 20 - English 5 - work experience 5 - spouse skills

IELTS expires in 6 or 12 months Sender: Barbitana
Dear Ckarmer, As Xris tells IELTS validation is 2 years from the exam date. Following the booklet6 , you may get 20...

120

Hi Techno Freak, I'd recommend trying to get the occupational buttessment changed if possible. In this way, you can give yourself the best possible chance of getting the full 10 points for work experience...

We could sell the house for the $100 bond if need be. Actually, if you applied for a 136 but didn't get enough points awarded from DIMIA, then they pooled you at say 115 points. Can you then say to them, heres $100,000 and they then add that to your visa - or do you have to re- apply from scratch?

I wonder if thats happened to anyone?
