Hi EC,
Does this sound right Sender: selinaQUOTE=SonicBirdWe've been told by our agent that.. "DIMIA (Immigration) issue a special reference number for the medicals, separate to the file reference. This...
If you are the primary applicant in the application, then you must takethe IELTS exam (unless you are from a native English speaking countrylike UK,US etc where you completed your education....I think soo :rolleyes: ).
If you need the complete 20 points for migration, then you would need6.5 or above in each of the 4 sections(listening,reading,speaking,writing) in the exam.In case you don'tachieve this, you might be enbreastled to 15 points or less depending onyour score.
Thus you must aim for the highest as the 120 points for 136 visaclbutt,will depend on your scenario(eg:If you have a job offer etc...)
120 =60 (Skills max)+20 (IELTS max)+10 (Job exp)+30 (agemax18-29)+10(Job offer max).
Thus if you can achieve 120 without the complete 20 points for IELTS,you are safe.Else, you might be asked to make up for the score if youare just short of 5 points. Otherwise, the CO would send you an emailsaying that your application is placed under the pool for 2 years.
I am not sure if the CO would wait for the new IELTS score...someoneplease suggest on that...
