Hi

My parents and my sister's family are keen to come too. We've had permanent residency since November 05.

My sister's got her skills buttessment approved and my mum and dad were thinking of going contributory parents.

1. Any chance they can be added to my sister's application as dependents? Currently they live 2 doors from each other and care for the kids when sis is at work. They'd probably buy together when they come.

2. Can they use me as a sponsor. I went through the forms which said you had to be pr or have something to do with NZ for 2 years and I didn't know whether it meant you had to be pr for 2 years or the NZ bit or if it meant if you had pr you were ok but if you were NZ you had to have two years (does this make sense?)

2. It's been suggested that they do the huge investment thing which they could manage but would stop them being able to buy a house. Is it right that this would only grant them temp visa and they'd have to apply all over again for pr?
