Hi Techno Freak, I'd recommend trying to get the occupational buttessment changed if possible. In this way, you can give yourself...

Hi,

I will hopefully soon be applying under 137 STNI after ACS buttessment and I already have a sponsorship from the Victorian government (STNI)

I'm still going to fill in the Skill matching section in case there is any chance of an employer offering a position. I'm buttuming that this is part of what this section is used for.... not just nomination by a state. Is this true?

I have a couple of questions with regards to this. I couldn't find mention of this after doing a search

Thanks George. I called the IEAUST this morning but the buttessing officer that dealt with my case was not...

1. Is there anyone on the forum that has been contacted in the UK about an available position based on the skill matching section alone 2. Is it likely they would considering I would still be in the UK. What about time required to leave UK.... I can imagine that would be a big problem. 3. If you were offered a position did they set a time limit on you getting out there and starting. If so what was the time limit

Is it more than likely going to have to go to Victoria and look for jobs from there?

I've already been on a business trip before and have a few contacts out there - but I'm worried about leaving the UK without a job offer. I wouldn't think an employer would offer a position while still in the UK

Any advice-comments are appreciated

James
