Hi,
i have applied for student visa to Australian HC in Sri Lanka on 1stFebruary 2006. My university is starting on this 20th Feb 2006. But myvisa is still pending and still i haven't received my PVA even.
As i know i should have apply 8 weeks before the course starting datebut due to various delays in university acceptance and documentsfinalizing procedures it has got extremely delayed. :D
I have inform this situation to the university admission department asan appeal and with due consideration to my appeal they have extend mystarting date till 6th March 2006 and they have send me a PDF e-mailletter by mentioning this extension. University admmission departmenthas also inform this extension to the High commission directly. (I gota copy of that e-mail)
I have sent an appeal to the Australia HC with this extension letter asa attachment on 13th Feb; but still no reply for that e-mail.
My question is will they cancel my visa application because i havementioned the course sarting date as 20th Feb on the visa applicationand 20th is not possible to attend. but i got a extension till 6thMarch. If they haven't receive my e-mail and university admissiondepartment's e-mail with the extension letter will my application getcanceled. I don't know whether they read these e-mails as they arevery bussy with this peak season (for cricket maches and commonwealthgames tourist visas and February intaking student visas).
please advice me on this problem what can i do to make this processfaster from my side.
