OK All you guys awaiting Meds in Manchester - Story of our day at St John Street Yesterday 11-10.
Firstly have enough Money for the Parking in St Johns Street, works out at appx å£2.00 per hour !
Anyway, we were greeted by very freindly Staff, who gave us our sample bottles - Straight to the Loo (So dont go beforehand).
After a short wait, we (Family of 4) Trotted off upstairs to see Dr Smith, Very Nice Fellow, who went through all the Forms with us, and Contersigned Pbuttport Photos etc.
The Medical itself Very Straight Forward for us Fellas the following :
Check Urine Take Blood Pressure Simple Eye Test Check Weight, Height Etc Strip to Underwear - Check Breathing, Check Joints & Reflexes Check Testicals (Cough etc) Examine Ears, Eyes, Throat Touch Toes to Check Spine Take a Blood Sample - Send it off to Bupa Hospital
For all you Ladies :
Exactly same as above, but you cover yourseleves up with a Sheet during the exam, Obviously - You dont have the same body as the Men, so Just A Little different.
No Internal Exam, and No Touching of Breasts etc !
My wife was very comfy with the exam.
Then we all went downstairs for chest X Ray - Very Straightforward.
Signed all the Forms - Handed Over å£ 700.00 (2 Cheques Doc & Radiologist Seperate)
They wished us well, said everything looked fine.
Back Out to Car, More Money into Meter ......Then on to "El Rincon" My Favourite Tapas Restaraunt for a Nice Meal and a couple of Glbuttes of Rioja............another å£40.00 Spent.
