We put our house on the market just after we had our medicals done, mid June 05 and we now have a buyer for our house - full asking price!, 2nd viewer! Looks like we'll be renting now as our buyers want everything to be processed quickly if possible. Would feel happier though to know for sure that we had the visa's and the timeline involved. Unbelievable situation, after all this time DIMIA still haven't got their act together.
I have noticed that hardly any visa's are being issued at the moment, there was the sudden rush of visa's issued 1-7-05 and now it seems to have gone quiet again, however most of the visa's issued weren't allocated to the pre-Julyers, no surprise there eh!! I know there are a lot of us in the same situation, so frustrating!
I often think of you, Jeanette, when I log on lately - hoping your "got it" is there. Easy for me to say, but surely it can't be much longer. At least you won't have the worry about selling your house. Think of it this way - even if everything goes smoothly with the sale, it will still be a few weeks for completion - the visa will be granted in the meantime and it will have all worked out for the best..
