done minimum of 3 days beforehand and then the docs surgery come and physically collect them and take them to the surgery in time for your appointment. So that would mean two trips, unlike some other places. The doc himself is very nice. Small surgery, not the most modern, but friendly and professional. Having read other threads on this site, I suppose he would be more thorough than some others, as he does everything on the usual list, including quick booby feel! Hubby also had a very quick feel, he tells me now! Had the choice of nurse being present but wasn't bothered. After you've given birth, nothing much phases you! He was also fairly thorough with our daughter, whereas some docs just look at children and that's it, this doc did actually give her knees and elbows the cursory bend, and have a quick feel of her tummy. Bloods took about 10 days to process and they sent them off via fedex, giving us the tracking number beforehand. I can't remember what we paid, it wasn't overly expensive though, I can dig out the costs if you want.
