Professional Princess: I know how u feel - we actually wanted to submit medicals before request as our son (soon to be 18) desperately wants to start an apprenticeship and is just waiting on the visas. Every time I think of the medicals I start panicking and don't go ahead with booking the darn things.
Madhu: We are actually living in Saudi Arabia at the moment.
I'll give u guys a bit of a background about my concerns and maybe someone out there can suggest something.
Hubby and I are both healthy but are both obese (yes I know, I know but we are trying to get it down).
Back in 2000 (whilst living in Scotland) a urine test on hubby carried out during an insurance examination showed a trace of blood. He was sent to his own doctor and the repeat test showed blood and a bit of protein. He was then referred to a urologist and had various tests (flexible cystoscopy; ultrasound scan of kidneys, intravenous urogram & cytology tests) were done but no abnormalities were found during any of the tests.
We just recently did a dipstick test at home and again it is showing blood in his urine.
We have a report from hubby's doctor in Scotland dated back in 2004 that states what was done and the findings but we are not sure if hubby would be required to go through all the tests again. (He certainly is not keen to do some of them as anyone with a medical background will understand.)
Can anyone suggest what we should do. Experts can you give some advice info.
