Mez and Joe
Hello Mez & Joe
The MOC's main concern about depression-attempted dissolution in the past is whether or not the person will be 100% fit enough to work and be totally self-supporting in Australia from tomorrow onwards. What they don't want is people migrating to Oz and then needing to claim state Benefits instead.
I would suggest that you obtain an up-to-date report from a psychiatrist confirming that Hubby has now made a full recovery. I would also be inclined to frontload your meds, and take the recent psychiatry report with you when you go to see the Panel Doctor. This way, if the MOC has any further queries, they can be dealt with during the period in which nothing else is happening because a CO has not yet started dealing with your file.
You would NOT be the first applicant to have been accepted despite a history of depression. They might look askance at someone who regularly attempts dissolution, but you certainly wouldn't be the first person to succeed in obtaining a visa after only one such attempt, so please try not to worry too much (though I do know how hard that is.)
Best of luck
Gill
