I posted a message about this yesterday but not had a response and getting quite desperate so apologies for posting again but I really need some help-advice on how to prove my income.
The last two years I have either been on maternity leave or working freelance (self employed). Q 34 says I need to provide proof of income via Australian or overseas Tax buttessment notices OR Payslips OR letter from my employer stating salary and how long i've worked there OR business documents or a letter from my accountant.
All I have is a notice from Inland Revenue saying I need to be self buttessed as I am self employed (no details of what I earn though) or my invoices I sent to the company I freelanced for (would this count as "business documents"?). I am currently recieving Maternity Allowance and have a form they sent me saying what I am enbreastled to as Maternity Allowance which is my only current income.
I sent an email to the high commission but only got a generic pdf back which didn't answer the question, so they've not been much help either.
