I've been checking out this forum for a while but had nothing valuable say that this forum is awesome and has been a great source of info ...and comfort too, knowing that there's tonnes of you folks out there in the same boat...all missing our fingernails ;)
Yes, we're pretty much playing the waiting game too, after having filed our 136 MODL on 18-May-06 from Canada and got our confirmation soon after that. We don't have a CO buttigned as yet but have been checking out the option of "front-loading" our meds (have sent in PCC with the app itself) and learned something interesting today. When I tried getting to Forms 26 and 160, I found that they are not made available for download by DIMIA any longer. I also managed to dig up and old 2005 newsletter on the DIMIA web-site which advises agents that the 2 forms are no longer publicly available to offshore applicants and will be supplied to the applicant by DIMIA when required. Apparently there was a lot of confusion as to where the completed forms were being mailed to and this resulted in lost applications.
Has everyone been aware of this or is anyone aware of any updates after this ? Thx !
