Oz visa defacto Sender: WacandJill

We have gone for a defacto one, through agents though. The things they ask for is proof that you have been living as man and wife for at least 12 months. We had to supply photos of ourselves together, including ones at various family functions like weddings christenings, to prove the family think you are together. Joint bank statements, utility bills, council tax bills-voting forms. Apparently the more the better, although we didntget that much. The forms also said christmas-birthday cardsjoint invitations to somewhere - we didnt bother with this as thought it was stupid because you could just have gone to a card shop and bought a load, and written them yourselves. Receipts for holidays together, showing that you sat on the plane together - we didnt have these either as were thrown away on return from hols. I think if you get as much together as you can - we didnt overdo it because we thought of course we are a proper couple - but you have to appreciate they dont know you, and it could be a staged relationship. Having said all this, we havent got our visa yet, so I advise the more info the better.
