I found a list of all the states websites on DIMIA's website last week but I can't find it now. Below is what I posted on another forum about SIR sponsorship and IT occupations:
"A quick search from DIMIA's website has found:
Vic: From 1-7-05 International ICT students who have studied in Australia will be the only ICT SIR applicants eligible to apply for Victorian SIR Sponsorship.
SA: You will require a firm job offer of at least 3 months from a SA employer.
WA: Godfields-Esperance Region has 2231-11 & 2231-79 on their list.
Qld: 1224-11 (IT Manager) in Mackay City
Tas: Applicants with IT occupations must have a firm job offer of at least 3 months from an employer in Tasmania unless the applicant has strong existing links to Tasmania
NT: Applications from IT professionals will only be accepted for consideration where the applicant can demonstrate significant work experience in a field for which there is an identified skill shortage in the Northern Territory. Applications that include an offer of employment from a Northern Territory employer will be considered favourably.
NSW: IT Manager in Central West"
