Hi,

I am hoping that someone can help me with any information, last October we visited the Emigrate show in Sandown Park and met a guy called Chris Starling who was working as a immigration consultant for Oz, he was on a stand with either the Southern or Western australian government, (can't remember which one) It turned out that he couldn't get my husband in, but my sister in law contacted him and he told her that she would be able to get permanent residency and that he could do her application for her. She works as a producer in television, In February she filled in all sorts of forms, which he had given her, gave him all of their birth certificates etc and paid him å£2500 to lodge her application, She had contact with him through an email address and a phone no. in Norfolk. She was not really up to speed with the process involved and trusted him to be doing this for her. He said that he used a DIMIA registered agent in Australia to put these applications in as he was not registered with DIMIA. To date she had not heard anything from him or DIMIA at all, and she has tried to contact him but with no luck. We had asked her on occasions if she had heard and told her that she would have expected to hear from DIMIA by now. It would appear that no application has ever been lodged and he is no longer in this country. Any ideas? Did anyone else out there have any dealing with him or meet with him at the Emigrate show last October. We went in April this year and did not see him there.
