AFIK, you will be covered if here legally. Of course, you could always come to Sydney where there are no trams. :-) Better climate, friendlier people, more scenic, etc.

Of course, realize that no resident of Sydney will ever have anything good to say about Melbourne or vice versa. :-)

One of the few Aussie cities haven't been in, but understand that it is considerably more "English" than Sydney which tends to be more Americanized. Much like San Francisco, our sister city.

Wouldn't worry about costs of a coroners inquest. If you are unfortunate enough to get run over by a tram I doubt that there would be any mystery about the cause of your dissolution.

Sounds sensible to me. Actually the basic Medicare service covers most emergency conditions, and most others. If you suffer facial scarring after the imaginary tram accident, will even cover that.

However, don't expect it to cover such purely "cosmetic" surgery such as nose jobs, liposuction, "tummy tucks", breast enlargement or reduction, etc. :-)

Put it this way, if you have lots of money and don't mind paying for "private" care you will have more options, might not have to wait as long for optional operations, etc.
