My OH applied in the first half of April in the UK, payment was processed on 19th April ........ and we are still waiting.
DIMIA have now on two occasions lost certified documents and random pages of our forms (one of which was fine in April when lodged but 4 pages have since gone missing), failed to answer emails and faxes, and generally cost us a lot of worry, and financial expense in getting further certified docs sent over from me in Oz, a new NOIM, and calls to their London office. When he eventually did make contact a couple of weeks ago OH was informed they had sent him a letter at the end of June which he never received asking for updated forms (my 40SP and his Form 80) which they had already had. These were the ones they had lost pages from.
We have had to cancel our wedding which was booked for 6th September and reschedule it for January 07 now.
It's just been a bl**dy nightmare. I can only hope that when he gets home tomorrow after a week away there will be a letter on his door mat from them.
If it hadn't been for Pollyana and George Lombard's help we would still be in the dark as to what is going on with his application.
Finger's crossed they don't lose anything this time.
