RPL Application
|
Hi, I am currently in the early stages of applying to the ACS for a skills buttessment to ultimately get my visa for Australia by applying under the MODL of Computing Professional - specialising in Network Security (2231-79). I am going to apply using the RPL route as I do not have a degree-Diploma. I would like to know before I start what my chances are and would appreciate any feedback. I have worked in IT for eight years this coming November and attended college for six months prior to this studying IT. I have spent the last five years as a Senior Network administrator and have the following professional qualifications. NVQ 1 - Use and Support of Information Technology NVQ 2 - Use and Support of Information Technology Novell CNA Novell CNE Checkpoint NG CCSA Checkpoint NG CCSE I have attended a lot of training courses including many Microsoft server 2000-2003 and active directory, plus many Novell and Checkpoint. One of the things I'm worried about is the deduction of years for the diploma, should I wait until I have eight years (November 06) or does my college work count, which would mean I could apply in June? Thanks in advance, Rick |
