SIR and public school fees, amount of AUD's to show to DIMIA Sender: SmartRaft


Dear mates, the more I dig into SIR visa conditions the more I get worried. And worry makes me asking You questions again and again ... Advice needed Sender: blieble The immigration website states the following: ------------- If your application includes a child under 18 years of age and the... 1.) As I heard any SIR sponsoring State is more likely to sponsor an applicant who is willing to bring more money to AU (to support cost of living in the first 2 years). What is the amount the States (Queensland especially) consider as sufficient sum (for a family of 3)? 20.000, 50.000 or even more AUD? Does the applicant have to show evidence of it (like Bank Account statement, etc.) or it is just willingness to show? 2.) SIR visa holders do not have to pay the international student scholarship fees when their children attending public schools in Queensland. What about the other States, particulary South Australia, Adelaide? Any web link to check it myself?
